Our History

In March of 2009, I lost my dear sister MaKah Rosemary Fokum Dinga due to stomach complications. In her honor, I started a non profit organization MaKah Foundation. I hope to raise money to build 40 pump wells in rural areas in Cameroon, West Africa.

In December of 2009, the first well was completed in the "Bamumbu" village. To date, 32 pump wells have been completed. In honor of MaKah, I hope their lives will forever be better.

Makah Foundation is moving to the second phase of its mission by constructing an orphanage in Cameroon to house up to 20 orphans. This space will also be a resource center for women empowerment programs.
